How to make a mould with Siligum Silicone Moulding Paste:
Siligum s blue and white pastes are ready to mix evenly by hand to quickly make a mould
Once mixed you have a up to 4 minutes to press the resulting gum over the object you wish to cast from
After about 5 minutes the gum has set to a firm, yet flexible mould
The moulding is firm enough to hold the overall shape and picks up all the tiny surface details - for example finger prints
Siligum has a special shiny surface that enables castings to release easily
A Siligum Mould will produce over 50 casts in plaster, crystal resin, clays, wax and low melting point metals
Siligum can withstand high temperatures - up to 300C for short spells
The re-sealable tubs keep unmixed Siligum pastes A and B fresh and ready to be used
300g covers to mould over a surface area of about 26 x 26cm when the cast needs only be a few mm thick
